Early July, we celebrated summer at CLI. Our festival kicked off with a live talk-show. Innovators Dr. Mijke Slot from Media & Communication and Dr. Sam Riedijk from the Medical School discussed their projects under the guidance of Matt Hrusc who turned out to be an excellent talk-show host. We could only have a few people in the CLI Lab, most participants were watching online. It was great to see how the personal experiences of Mijke and Sam during the pandemic inspired their didactic innovations. It was good that the opening of the Summerfestival already included serious reflection on what we do and aim at in class.
