On 10 November 2017, Ruud successfully defended his PhD thesis about persuasive gaming. It is the first thesis from our PGIC project. He completed the project in four years, which is a major accomplishment. The research articles he already published and the thesis deepen our insight in under what conditions persuasion works best. He also recommends to dedicate future research to the role of enjoyment in persuasive gaming.
