The interest in serious gaming is rising in the academic community. The Innovation Room hosted by the Centre for Education and Learning underlined this: Farshida Zafar (EUR, Law) presented the field. Mary Dankbaar and Stephanie Klein Nagelvoort-Schuit from the Erasmus Medical Centre presented their research on the ABCDEsim and Heidi Lukosch (Tech Uni Delft) discussed games for technical education. I showed how we incorporate our research on the validation of games into our MOOC serious gaming.
