The failure to reproduce the results of many previous psychological (laboratory) studies is very important news from the Reproducibility Project: Psychology chaired by Brian Nosek [@briannosek]. Some critical observers may see it as a weakness of psychology, but I find that short-sighted. There is no doubt that other research disciplines will face a similar problem.
